Revitalising Wash, 500ml
Revitalising Wash with Spearmint & Peppermint is a light soothing
natural wash, which provides a refreshing and cooling massage for your
horse/pony without chilling the animal.
Spearmint and peppermint are truly wonderful natural oils to use on
hot sticky summer days after exercise or competition. The cooling
peppermint and icy spearmint will instantly cool the surface of the skin
but have the ability to warm the animal inside. Natural coconut
derivatives are also included which are probably the kindest yet most
thorough cleansers to remove heavy sweat and soiling with ease.
Uses: Revitalising Wash is ideal for washing down after exercise or heavy competition. The low lathering formula removes heavy sweat with ease and requires no rinsing. This non-rinse formula cools without making the animal cold.
Contents: Essential Oils, Herbal Concentrates & Coconut Cleansers.
Directions
for Use: Dilute 5 to 6 capfuls in a bucket of water. Sponge down
and allow to dry naturally. No Need to rinse.

I was really pleased that I had volunteered Balin (Guards Joseph) to
be a guinea pig for the ‘Tried and Tested Section’. When the product
arrived, I noticed it was one that I had already discovered’ last year,
so I planned to use it at our 80km Gold Thistle Final at Lilliesleaf in
July. As my crew know, Balin is very difficult – being black, heavy and
hairy. With this in mind, I am happy to try anything that will make my
job easier. I have tired a number of ‘washes’ on him, but I have to say,
this is the only one that seems to work. It does what it says on the
bottle – it cools the surface of the skin without chilling the horse!
And also importantly, it successfully removed the heavy sweat and dirt
we had accumulated at Lilliesleaf, thanks to the coconut cleansers. It
does not contain soap or detergents. The essential oils work wonders,
they revitalise both horse and rider! …and I should know, as I used it
on myself at the Scottish Championships last year, standing in a tub of
water by my trailer, with the only sponge ‘Spencer’ had not ripped to
shreds, trying to beat the stifling heat. It was brilliant! Tinglingly
refreshing with a wonderful uplifting smell of peppermint and spearmint.
It is very reasonably priced and readily available at good tack shops.
Don’t go to a ride without a bottle – keep one with your sponges and

I used Natural Revitalising Wash with Spearmint & Peppermint on
both Nikitta & Kifinti at the Ullswater, Dukeries and Tebay rides.
It helped to remove sweat and dirt easily. Seems refreshing and the
pulse rates dropped quickly. Low foaming and not having to rinse off.

I did the Exmoor 80km ride at the Golden Horse Shoe this year and
the weather was very hot. I washed Rilletta down with Natural
Revitalising Wash, at the end of the first day and noticed when I was
walking around waiting for vetting, that all of the other horses had
dried off, but Rilletta was still wet and cool to the touch. She vetted
well with a low pulse. The second day was slightly cooler with cloud by
the time we had finished, so I diluted the wash slightly more as I
